It was so fantastic to see almost ALL of my students wearing pink today to support anti-bully day!
To help out with this topic, we had Mr. Pratchler come in and talk to us about "Mean Jeans", and how can we be respectful.
I have left our "Let's Talk Respect" bulletin board up for students to refer to, as well as Mr. Pratchler.
Today we had "Playground Buddies". This was a program to work with grades 3-6 to teach them how to play properly with the younger grades.
Once the older grades learned some games to play with the younger grades, grades k-2 were brought in. It was so nice to see all of the grades play together and enjoy it!
You can't go through April 1st without a prank!
This morning I told the students to get out a pencil as we were going to have a pop spelling test!
Once I had said all the words, I told them to read them out loud. Once they read them all I heard was "Miss Owens!! You tricked us!!" The words were this, is, not, a, real, test, happy, April, fools, day.
Don't forget to wear blue tomorrow for Autism Awarness Day and no axhool Friday- yay!
