My name is Mrs Daviduk, and I am going to be the new Grade 1 teacher at Wadena Elementary School until June. I could not be more excited about this new adventure that I am about to embark on.
This will be my third year of teaching. My first year of teaching was in Macoun where I was the K/1/2 teacher. While I was there, I was part of the SCC as well as was the junior girls volleyball coach (we won districts). Last year I taught in Watson where I began the year as the 3/4 teacher and ended the year as the Grade 2 teacher. While I was in Watson I coached junior soccer and badminton, as well as started up a school curling program.
I was lucky enough to do my internship internationally! I had the privilege of traveling to Truro, Cornwall, England to teach a Reception class, which is similar to our PreK-K class. As I was over there I did a lot of traveling. I traveled to London, Paris, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Liverpool and Krakow- which were all amazing places to visit! The town I lived in, Turo, also had a lot of interesting places to visit and see in and around the community. Who would have thought that the southern part of England would be a surfers paradise?
I am ready to dive right into a new school year with a new grade and new school!
