Our day in a nutshell...
Today in ELA we used our fancy new resource to read a First Nations version of a fairy tale. It was great! To begin the lesson, we discussed adjectives and then we brainstormed a list of adjectives for wind. Wow! Is all I can say! They did fantastic! They were all engaged and we're all able to answer our discussion questions after!
In Science, we read about Animals on the Inuit and what the Inuit people used the animals for. Again, this was from our fancy new resource, and again, they were all super engaged!!
In our writing class, we are writing on kites for our bulletin board. The bulletin board is titled- The year flew by but I remember... It is interesting to see what they remember and what they don't!
Here are the spelling words for the week. On Wednesday, the SCC is putting on a free spaghetti lunch for everyone! Yummy!!
