This morning the students played Sight Word Kaboom so I had some time to hear students read their words to me!
Today my reading group spent some time playing some Jolly Phonics games. We played a game where they listened to a word being sounded out and they had to match it to the correct picture, and then they heard a tricky word and had to find it.
In Math we spent some time completing work from yesterday. Once that was done, we talked about number bonds to 10.
In Science we talked about structures that help protect us from weather, and specific parts of the structure that protect us.
We ended the day with our spelling test, and then health.
Next week is a shorter week, students have no school Friday.
The students have been working super hard this month with settling in for class and following our classroom rules. They have earned themselves a hot chocolate party next week!
Have a good weekend!
